OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: No triggers, but if in doubt, feel free to message me.

IN CHARACTER

PHYSICAL AFFECTION: If she likes you. (She's not good at it.)
INTIMACY: Unlikely, but I don't rule anything out.

PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Go for it!
PSYCHIC INFORMATION: She has extremely strong psychic defenses, and pretty strong offenses too.
MAGICAL INFORMATION: Only of the 'sufficiently advanced technology' kind.
MEDICAL INFORMATION: Her interfaces appear human in regular health.
OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS & TRIGGERS: None that I can think of. Things like body horror might happen, but I won't throw anything potentially disturbing on anyone unsuspecting.

OUT OF CHARACTER

VERSE: Doctor Who. It's similar to our own, but just with A LOT more aliens.
ASSUMED CR: Will gladly assume CR as long as we have a brief conversation to decide specifics. (Would like to play out first meetings, but we can handwave other interactions.)
BACKTAGGING: Sure, but if my brain has moved on from something, I might not be able to tag back.

NOT INTERESTED IN: I'm up for anything.

HISTORY

Character name: The TARDIS, the Ship
Character Journal: [personal profile] relativedimension
Canon: Doctor Who
Age: Anywhere between 15'000 and several billion

History:
'The Doctor's TARDIS' at the Tardis Wiki.
'RASSILON, OMEGA and that OTHER guy' - the most complete timeline of the history of the Time Lords that exists.

Since I can't expect anyone to read all that for an app, I will now attempt to create a summary of relevant information. All of it will be drawn from canon, but a lot of it very obscure. Strap in. Alternatively, just smile and nod.

Before the creation of this universe (hoo-boy), the Archons - also known as the Great Old Ones - were Time Lords in the previous universe. They escaped the destruction of their own universe, and watched the creation of this one. The most powerful of these became the Six-Fold God known as the Grace, who are Guardians and dimensions of the universe.

(There is evidence to suggest that the Doctor is a reincarnated version of the Red Guardian, or the Archon Nyarlathotep, or both - though he generally doesn't carry this knowledge around with him - but that's a story for another day.)

On Gallifrey, the Age of the Pythia begins, roughly 10 billion years before the Doctor is born. Elsewhere, during this time, the Archon create the Seeds that will later become TARDISes. Then, 2 billion years before the Doctor, some Gallifreyans lead a revolution against the Pythia, and establish Time Lord Society. The Time Lords steals the Seeds from the Archons, and create the first TARDISes. They then wage war against the Archons, nearly wiping them out, and become the dominant temporal power.

(A note: I will use familial terms like father/mother/sister. These do not imply biological connection similar to humans - merely a type of relationship.)

The Ship (the Doctor's TARDIS), a Type 40 Time Travel Capsule is created and registered, though it will take her a few thousand years to grow and gain her exo-chronoplasmic shell. She (like her sister Lolita, the Master's TARDIS) is half timeship, half ancient sentient tech from the time when the Time Lords waged war against the Vampires. She knows that is she is superior to other TARDISes because of this - however, no one but these two TARDISes (and their mother, the Matrix) know this, not even the Doctor. Even before traveling with him, she has a reputation for being a disobedient renegade.

For a time, the Ship belongs to Castellan Marnal (who may be the Master's father). When the Doctor is still a child, Ulysses (the Doctor's father) wipes Marnal's memory and steals the Ship from him. When the Doctor is at the Academy, the Ship decides he will be her future pilot. A few decades later, Ulysses takes the Ship to Earth. When Ulysses is captured by the Germans in 1944, the Ship returns to Gallifrey without him.

A few centuries later, the Doctor spends several decades serving as one of five Apprentice Time Lords aboard the Ship. The first thing the Doctor says when he sees the Ship is "You are the most beautiful thing I've ever known."

However, eventually the Type 40 TARDISes are classified as Veteran, and begin being withdrawn from service. The Ship is brought to a dry dimension dockyard for repair, and left in hibernation for for several decades. Eventually, she is due to be scrapped and vaporised.

And so the Ship decides to renegade against TARDIS society. Around the same time, the Doctor is also deciding to leave Gallifrey. The Doctor and the Ship steal each other, and they take off to see the Universe, along with the Doctor's granddaughter Susan.

Now follows countless adventures that I will not even slightly try to list. The Doctor and the Ship form a symbiotic link. The Ship is destroyed and regrown a few times. She encounters her sister Lolita several times. The Ship travels to alternate universes (that hurt). They return to Gallifrey quite a few times. A lot of stuff happens, but I will only cover a few more recent things.

The Time War happens. There's many more TARDISes, including ones that have a level of sentience and sapience closer to the Ship's own, though most of them are War TARDISes. The Ship herself is involved with the War.

On the Final Day of the War, the Doctor lands on Gallifrey, and he walks miles away from the Ship, so she won't have to watch what he has to do. He then locks the planet and their enemies inside a Time Lock, sealing them away from the rest of the Universe. The Ship considers all her sisters to be dead, perhaps believing like the Doctor that they are not just sealed away, but destroyed.

Before this happens, the Matrix creates a partition in the memory of the Ship and uploads of copy of herself, driving herself mad in the process. The Ship is not aware that she is carrying around a copy of her mother, and the whispers of dead Time Lords. The Doctor will later (in his 11th incarnation) trap this copy of the Matrix in a wormhole.

The Doctor's companion Rose looks into the Heart of the Ship, and together they become the Bad Wolf. They destroy all the Daleks in the Universe, and they make Jack a fixed point in time (the Ship will later regret that). The Doctor puts the Ship back into the TARDIS, and wipes all the knowledge from Rose's mind to protect her.

The Master steals the Ship at one point, and turns her into a Paradox Machine. This is not much fun for the Ship.

At one point, they are captured by the House in a bubble universe, and the Ship is torn from her TARDIS body and placed in a human one. (She sees the corpses of many of her sisters here.) This is not the first time the Ship has been able to speak to the Doctor with mouth-words, but it is the most recent. Thankfully, she is returned to her TARDIS body soon enough.

The companions Amy and Rory conceive River in the TARDIS. The Ship teaches River how to fly her, considering River to be her daughter.

The Ship was parted from the Doctor for a while, during which the Doctor returned to Gallifrey. Now there are finally other TARDISes out in the universe. However, some time later, all life on Gallifrey was wiped out, presumably including all the TARDISes that were on the planet.

Very recently, the Flux ravaged the universe, and the Doctor threw the TARDIS in its path to stop the Flux. This caused many damages and system malfunctions in the TARDIS. After the Flux was stopped, the Doctor set the TARDIS to reset her systems, to repair the damage. This is the last thing the TARDIS remembers.
